Emerit Mary Lou Cobb
Educational Consultant, founder The Cobb School
Mary Lou serves as the Board Vice-President. She founded The Cobb School Montessori in 1974 in Simsbury, Connecticut.
She holds an AMI Primary credential and taught 30 years while leading the school for 45 years. Mary Lou also serves on the board of the Training Center of New England, The Montessori Schools of Connecticut as its founder, and on the Accreditation Commission for the Independent Schools of Connecticut. She is well-known for her leadership in helping to found MAA and many other initiatives.
She holds a certificate in Montessori Leadership through Whole School Leadership. Mary Lou now serves as an Educational Consultant internationally, having retired from the school she founded. She holds a certificate in Montessori Leadership from Whole School Leadership through Loyola University Maryland.
